Another week at Wimbledon

Here are some more photographs of my work from my FMP. The prints have been created by taking inspiration from the human brain and interpreting the organ through colour and texture, and will later be used as cushion covers. I'm really pleased with the results, now I just need to work into them with my sewing machine!

Blind Drawing

These designs are part of my FMP, creating loose and textured drawings based on the body. From line drawing to sketching through blindfold and touch, my pages have become more developed and interesting to the eye...or so I hope!

Rachael Howard

These designs by artist Rachael Howard are so fun and imaginative! The inspirations from sketches are the basis of these pieces, and really relates to my FMP, where most of the printing is from blind drawing.

Outer Shell

This week I have to bring in work from the previous project to be exhibited in the college along with other students. This has reminded me that I want to try Knitting again when I complete this project, as it was really addictive when I learnt the different techniques.

Sybille Hotz

I've been looking at the work of Sybille Hotz as part of my contextual studies, concentrating on her use of stitch to create a more three dimensional textiles piece.
